Yeah, KISS is definitely my usual go-to, but I think I got caught up in the how-tos re: the bad shock mount gasket and got stuck in the hemming and hawing mode. Finding out that the clunk was coming from a poorly mounted tail light assembly was a happy accident.
At least it's "cockroach free".. The last time I had Chinese food there were cockroaches in my pork fried rice.. True story.
Hey, Mic.. Zak..(and others) I was thinking about this comment I made yesterday, and I would like to apologize for it. I understand that some of you guys are from Asian decent and that this could've come off the wrong way.. I meant no disrespect by it. That was just one bad occurrence out of a hundred good ones, and since it happened last month it was just fresh in my mind.. So again. My bad.

ALL restaurants can have roaches, some just take advantage of the fact.
No offense taken, I'm not one of those that take such comments in the wrong way. Some others, less secure about themselves, might, but I don't. There is prejudice and there's lots of closed minds everywhere. Were I to take such things over-seriously; those things I cannot change, I'd be in a rounded padded room with anxiety disorders.
Appreciate the thought though.
I prefer to look at things from a more humorous, however bent, perspective as you can tell from my first comment.
Hmmmm, I speak Cantonese - especially good at ordering garlic chiggen and wonton but at a loss here.... can only guess that "an den" means "You want roaches with that?" in a different dialect.

Hahaha.. Ok good. I figured, but I just wanted to make sure.

That's very big of you, and is appreciated. But having spent a huge chunk of my life living in Asia, I can assure you that there are many things on the plate when you go out to eat on that continent. Menus are more "suggestions" than anything else, especially once you get out into the sticks. I've eaten dog (unbeknownst to me until after I ate it) in both the Philippines and Korea. I've eaten bugs in Korea and Thailand; probably in the Philippines as well. I've eaten whale in Japan at a sushi restaurant (again, unbeknownst to me until after I ate it) and I've ingested stuff that would certainly not pass inspection over here, but I'm still alive and kicking and so are billions of other Asians. Yeah, it's a stereotype, but to be honest, speaking as a half-Asian local-living brat with family all over the world, I think it's an earned one. No offense taken.
Now if you had mentioned something about me being a low-life Haggis eater, what with my being half-Scottish and all, I would have been highly offended and would have challenged you to a duel.

Well, good. I'm glad that I cleared that up with you.. And maybe that's why you seem so smart, because you ate all that weird(cough) culturally diverse food.
GREAT thread bump! Forgot about that one. I'm guessing it'll take on another round of misconceptions!! Awesome, can't wait!
Thought this was going to come out better, not bad but probably won't ever make it on my car unless I scuff it and repaint it.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, you said "sway bar" yesterday and I thought, "Wow, that's not going to stay polished too long." Now I see you meant "strut bar". Makes sense. Looks good!
Mine came polished. Ehhh, so it's not a 350Z. Haha. No, not installed, it's the last thing going under hood. Signals "I'm finished!"
