Since I just took delivery of mine on Saturday, I did a y back exhaust yesterday, and today I did an oil change.

Next up is a gearbox oil change and a diff oil change.

I removed the front bumper yesterday to install a new driver's side headlamp assembly (mine was full of moisture and I didn't really feel like sticking it in the oven and re-sealing it.) I was able to get my hands on a brand new Nissan OEM assembly from Amazon for $165. I noticed that right after I paid for it, the price on the part bumped up to around $700 with a 1-2 month wait. I guess mine was on clearance. The bumper went on and off about 3 times to get the headlight lined up to where I wanted it. I need to aim the bloody beam though. In hindsight, I should have marked my wall with some blue tape so that I could just adjust the beam to that. Now I'm going to have to get out the tape measure. While I had the car up in the air with the front end disassembled, I did an oil change as well. I spent most of Mother's Day on the floor of my garage. Fun times. Happy memories.

Are you talking about a brake bleeder?

Everyone on here I chatted with recommended the motive power bleeder. It worked really well for me. A bit pricey but so helpful.

LOL! Blame your wife. You sound like me.

I use the Motive Black brake bleeder system. I have all the hookups for foreign and domestic models, but if you're just working on your Nissan, this is what you want:

https://www.motiveproducts.com/colle...-3-tab-adapter

You can get the cheaper version (non-Black) with the plastic brake reservoir cap, but I like the metal version better.

What have you done for your Z today?-1494881292446.jpg

But I went one step further and ordered the longacre bleeder bottle. Zero mess!! Magnet on it so it sticks to the rotor. Very nice

That's actually a great idea. I'm going to have to stick a couple magnets to my brake fluid bottles. I'm sick of having them flop around on the floor.

I did absolutely nothing... And my headlight started working again... 5/13 we had torrential downpours, and my daily is out of commission due to needing a new exhaust, so it was 1 of very few days the Z had been in the rain for an extended period of time... and on an evening drive home the headlight, boom, stopped working, and yesterday, drove around to spend time with my mother, and just like that it started working again...

Yeah I scored that little thing on eBay for cheap. Hoses connect to both sides of the caliper simultaneously. Just crack the bleeder and it runs into the bottle with no mess.

Better pics soon!
What size are your RPF1? I am looking into buying the Akebono to fit into my 57XTREME 18x9.5 +22 fronts. I was going to order some AMG Brembos 6-Piston 'til I learned that it was going to have clearance problem with that one.

I believe they are 18x9.5 +15 front and 18x10.5 +15 rear with 10mm spacers all around...

Got my holes cut... Deff the best circle cutting I have ever managed.

9.5 x18, +12
10.5 x 18, + 12.
No spacers on this car. Eibach Pros, Bilstein B8 and Z1 camber kit. This front brake setup is very tight. I just pulled the fr wheels for ZdayZ prep. The inside barrels are picking up a hint of red paint from calipers. Easily removed with acetone. If it comes back I'll simply take a file stroke or 2.

Spark plugs this morning now waiting on the pb blaster to soak on the cats. Got the infamous demon bolts along with the other top ones out in about 15 mins. The two bolts on the other ends are a different story however. :/
