Default Ez pcv valve replacement

Took all of 3 minutes. You will need a needle nose pliers and a 13mm deep socket. I bought both of these tools online for a total of $7. New PCV valve can be bought for $10 or less. EZ access to the part, if you don't know where it is youtube videos will show you.

Yesterday, I washed the car twice and then went over it with a clay bar, used my random orbit polisher to buff out the swirl marks using a medium polish, then hit it with a fine polish and paint sealer (Griot's Garage). Then I waxed the whole thing with some Maguiar's Gold carnuba wax. The job took me about 6 hours, but the paint looks like it's wet now. My arms feel like Jello today. I still have to detail the interior.

Finished up my BBK install after a good bleeding with my Motive power bleeder.

Nice firm pedal and excellent stopping power. I thought my head was going to smack the steering wheel on my first set of stops to bed in the new pads

If the 50 oak trees surrounding my driveway would ever stop dropping all those stringy dingleberries all over, I might actually be able to give it a good wash and wax.

Those brakes look fantastic...exactly what I want to do in the future including keeping it low profile with the Nissan on them.

Great job and enjoy man.

Thanks, Shawn. The brakes feel great. I originally had not planned on going with the red calipers since they're a little loud, but a set for the rears popped up in the marketplace at a good price, so I jumped on them. I sourced the rest of the kit from Z1 and got them on in time for ZdayZ

Can't wait! Hope to see some of my350z brethren there!

Bought some Z jewellery.

Appears to be a German promo kit for the 350Z, came with a promo DVD and a metal bullet with the Z logo on it, I am still unsure how this relates to the car but its pretty cool I guess?

I put my valve cover gasket on my valve covers with some rtv. I'll let them set up over night and maybe put them on tomorrow if I get some motivation.

Says the hardest-working man on my350z.com.
To quote an ancient Irish blessing-

Your valve covers will not leak, my friend!

Yeah, doing valve covers really exercises the core.

But not your wallet!

I feel like valve covers are a rite of passage. Those and the rear differential bushing and the window motor

I'm doing the valve covers in 2 weeks on a friend's G35. I've already done the diff bushing and several window motors. I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for the trifecta. I think you summed it up perfectly.

Of course, then there's the clutch issues with the HRs.

Also replaced the spark plugs while I was at it.

So it seems that is just a useless hole. After hours of searching and YouTube videos along with the clue of that nut being the only dingy looking part of the old cover.

It hides under the o2 sensor plug, if anyone is so inclined to go check and confirm its worthlessness.
