Alright! Forgot about clear having a lower coefficient of friction than orange. Guess I should have paid better attention in my fluid dynamics classes.
Well I've been cracking down on suspension maintenance recently. Of course, keeping my Z stock for the most part to be a daily and keep its value, I've been trying to stay away from all the shiny aftermarket parts. Very hard to do....
So far, things to replace are front lower ball joints, bushings on the LCA (just gonna go with poly), and I need to inspect the inside of the driver side boot behind the tie rod. Also my pass side rear caliper seized up and grinded my pads to nothing!
Well yesterday, I went and put the front bumper's oem hardware and plastics back on it so it would finally look flush.
Today I rebuilt the seized caliper AND the driver side as well. Might as well since Z1 provides the kit for BOTH sides!
I guess next weekend, I'll head to Harbor Freight and get a press for the ball joints that have been sitting in the box for a week now.
Feels good to be back working on the Z again. The summer was just too damn hot!

^ Wheels looks fantastic. Need Brembo or BBK though.Stock brakes ruins the look.
Thanks!
Agree 100% getting the Nismo calipers, the looks of those will be perfect for the wheels and since it's one of the only kits that changes the location of the calipers it will look better because of it being symmetrical as well as being more functional.
I have Nissan 350z 2018 American model. I was just wondering what is the market value of this car. I used car valuation calculator and calculated my car value. See the attached screenshot.
Was out at New Jersey Motorsports Park - Lightning Course this past weekend for SCCA Time Trials National Tour event. This was my 9th and final event for the season and the car did great. Rotated my tires halfway through the day and was able to lay down a 1:19.xxx being my first time out here. Anyone have times for this track to compare? Things to note from this season: Federal RS-RRs are a great 200tw tire to begin your venture into a 200 tw tire (I came from a 340tw hankook ventus v12 evo2). This season I also added SPL front camber arms to dial in front camber -3.3 front -2.1 rear which helped with the understeer and also square set up tires and wheels which helped with understeer. The Federal-RS-RR were purchased new in March and after this event I think I have 1 or 2 more events before they are trashed. Next season I'm thinking of going to the yoko A052 or B-RE71Rs. Season 2 of HPDE in the books! I'm really liking this Time-Attack/Time-Trials competition!

long story short, that hood has flown up at low speeds to me being dumb and cracked the fiberglass support beams going down the middle (its a seibon so fiberglass). so at high speeds the hood flexes a lot. I'm running 3 latches, 2 aerolatches and the OEM latch point. the lack of support beams on the hood since its broken and maybe the pressure build up at high speeds flexes the hood up like that. Gunna swap my OEM hood back and add trackspec vents during the off season.
