I'm also having some problem with my fuel door but it's not about the gap. I had to push the door button a few times to open the fuel door.

I just noticed that on my SB a few weeks ago ... oh well, we're just gonna have to live with it. I'm not gonna try to bend it into shape cause i'll probably break it.

Mine is not aligned totally, but not as bad as the picture shows. Check if the line that connect to the gas cap does not stick between the gas door and the body.

this just happens from the constant opening and closing of the door....the way the bolts are set up it loosens every time it is opened...so the longer you have your z...the worse it should be
but its a simple fix

I think everyone has had this problem. The problem is the plastic line that holds the cap. Rotate it around to the right side of the cap after its twisted on and close the door. This works everytime for me.
