I own a solar Orange 350Z....I have heard the Pumpkin reference....I like the car and it definatly turns heads....I have seen 2 others in this color... One in Ft. Walton Beach, the other in Lubbuck Texas...I am not sure how many were made, I was told from the dealer that since I have a Touring model with navi in solar orange, it was real rare, but he could of been blowing smoke up my butt to get me to buy it... either way I plan to keep it for a while and ya never know, maybe one day it will be worth something...

 

I too have a S.O. and love the color. I understand where the "washed out" comment comes from. Since I'm in Seattle, the dirt leftover after driving in the rain makes this color look horrible. So if one keeps their Z clean, it looks fantastic, once it is dirty though, it looks terrible.

 

My girlfriend just bought a toruing roadster edition. Got it last night at midnight! Car is beautiful!Here are some pics from the night she got it!

I prefer the 'ol Lemans Sunset, but, I almost went to the Solar Orange during my oil consumption process.
