Question My Z is making a rattling sound.

Ok, for the life of me I can not find out what my Z is doing when I shut it off. If I have the car in neutral when I shut the car off, You hear this rattling sound when the motor shuts off. BUT, if it is in first with the clutch in and I shut it off, its quiet.

Any Ideas. Some one please help me.

Thanks

All Z transmissions make that sound. It's "normal".

Hold the clutch in while in neutral then turn it off.

Its normal, happens on all 350z's. You can either deal with it or just press the clutch, like suggested earlier, and it will not happen.
