Hey guys! I have 8000 miles on my 9month old Z. About 6000 or so miles I switched to full synthetic just to let you know. A few mins ago after washing my car I attempted to back my car into the garage. When i let the clutch out and gave it some gas my car bogged down somewhat due to my parking brake being up (DOH). Immediately after that I glanced in the rear and I noticed a HUGE puff of blue smoke flying in the air. I will say my engine was cold however i did let it idle about 20 seconds before trying to move. This car has only been babied for the 8000 miles so WTF is this blue smoke for. Blue represents oil and so help me if my engines seals etc are leaking I will freak. My previous car was a 90TT ZX and experiencing 1 year of smoking turbos and 3k in replacement is no fun. I will say that my idle in my opinion is not that great. When sitting in the drivers seat I can feel a light tremble while notice my tach jumping ever so slightly. Is it possible for my engine to be a little sick. Should have take the car in and have them diagnose the problem (compression check). Thanks in advance for the help

Try to recreate the problem again. Have your wife/girlfriend/etc start the car with you watching the exhaust. Do it when the car is cold. I think you would know if oil was being burned/leaked. Check where you park the car, check your oil level etc...

I noticed that with my Z today. I noticed that there is a little carbon buildup on the exhaust tips and when i was looking i saw a (very)little smoke rolling out the tailpipe ( I had just parked the car). It could be because i baby this car so much that it needs to be turned loose every now and then to clear out the carbon buildup. It is a high performance engine you know?
