Default Maryland Delivery News

I was just at my dealer (Tishcer Nissan in Laurel MD) yesterday, and lo and behold some lucky sob's Daytona Blue Entusiast had just arrived. They were getting ready to PDI it, and were VERY careful not to let anyone jockey the car around or even drive it. They let me sit in the car (so long as I was careful) and verify head room, etc once again. (Being 6'6" its a big concern for me)

The even better news is, that my Z should be here wednesday! (Touring / Silverstone / Burnt Orange / Nav) I can hardly wait. I was planning on not purchasing the car (since i just purchased a house, ugh) but have decided to say "screw it". All these great reviews here have changed my mind...

Now I just need to decide were I'm going to drive first

So all you Maryland / VA guys out there with no Z, have hope, they ARE coming!

-Steve

I hope so...I was about to start another Frustration Thread. Hopefully they'll start hitting the beltway.

Steve- maybe you saw in my thread from earlier today, mine came in to VOB in Rockville a few hours ago.

I'm in the same situation with a new house, but there's no doubt now that I'm getting this Z!

My dealer at Sheehy in Annapolis called me this afternoon. He says the ones they got today were supposed to be there on the 4th of September, but he mentioned something about "only 2 Z's per carrier" like someone else mentioned here, hence the delay. I was expecting a November delivery (ordered 6/8) and he said my car would be here around Oct 15.

My Maryland dealer's inventory on the NNA web site has shown 10 vehicles so far. No Track models yet however (which is what I ordered). Based on this, I have to believe that Nissan built batches of models at a time with the Track being at the end of each batch. I heard that only 8% of the cars were Track models, so that may be why the models are arriving at a single dealer in the sequence I am observing. Either that or a random number generator was used to do the build sequence!

The wait continues for some of us who pre-ordered on day 1. Still hoping for mid September as per the latest ETA from the dealer.

Picked up my car yesterday, can't say enough good things about it. Still upsets me about switching the delivery dates around. Hang in there guys, I'm sure your Z is coming soon!

I FINALLY showed op on inventory this AM. With an original delivery of 9/5 it still ticks me off, but I'm gald I will have my car in the next 48 hours or so. If you look at dealers within 50 miles of the area, most are showing 2 to 3 in their inventory. IT'S ABOUT TIME!!

Happy to hear about your news!!

I'd be even happier, however, if my 9/4 delivery date Z were to also show up!

I've been pre-approved for the car loan and pre-approved for the house loan, does anyone know if getting the Z before making the Zoro signature mark on the house will do anything to the pre-approved loan house loan... like cancel it? That's really a pretty big concern with me, but I dare not ask anyone associated with either of the sales. Car arrival ~Sept 5th, condo closing day Sept 26th. When Would the car payments start? Sorry for being a bit off topic.
ok, I bought a new S-10 in late June. I bought the new house mid august, and the Z 2 days ago. When they ran the credit check on the house a month after buying the S-10, the new payment had not shown up yet. Just the one for the truck I traded in, so if they are fairly close in time frame, it shouldn't show up or be a problem.

350Z deity-

I was in the same boat as well. Ususally most major home lenders (wells fargo, chase, etc.) will not run another check at closing so long as your original credit check is not any older than 90-120 days. If it has been that long since your pre-approval or it will be by the time you close, then they will do another credit check.
As you probally know, it depends on what type of loan your getting, FHA, VA, or conventional, as to what your max debt to income ratio can be. Ususally 35% conv- 45% for VA/FHA. LOL

Maybe more Track models were ordered at your dealership. Mine had 7 Tourings, a couple of Perfomance, and an Enthusiast come in so far. If mine arrives in mid September I'll still be pleased.

Default Hamilton Nissan Hagerstown MD

I went to Hamilton Nissan in Hagerstown Md last night to look at a 350z and found out that they are adding $2000 for a 5yr 100k waranty. Now i have already place a deposit 3months back and they told me that there will be no add on amount. That has put a real bad taste in my mouth. But the car is very very nice. I can not wait to own one. Anyone order from them and are you aware of the add on. I called Fitzgerald nissan in Chambersburg PA, and they are not adding anything on. Looks like i might be waiting longer. Going to pull my deposit from Hamilton. Kinda of sucks but what do you do.
