Question 2+2 350z

Has anyone heard ANY talk regarding a 2+2 model? My 300 ZX is exactly that and I love the extra space..!

you may not be, but its true. if they extended the wheelbase and body to accomidate the 2 rear seats, theyd be a few sheet metal curves away from the G35coupe, its not financially sound to make 2 cars so identical.

Sure it is....it's called FoMoCo (because we all know how different a Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountainer are :P)

You just have to convince the market that they're two different vehicles and BAM!

cabogal,
i dont see it happening. like ricky said, that is basically what the g35c is. and i am not sure if konverter was joking or not, but if i had a g35c that is exactly what i would do... put on the skyline emblems. i mean it is no different than putting "fairlady z" emblems on... which i did.

besides you would probably get better customer service at the infiniti dealership than the nissan.

i didnt need a back seat... or a hatch area for that matter, so that is why i got the roadster.

mercury mountaineer is not exactly selling like hotcakes, because most realize the eery similarity.

You're saying that all else being equal, you wouldn't rather have Infiniti's better service, warranty, and free loaner cars?

That's a lot to give up for a meaningless badge...

Not going to happen... everybody is right... G35 is the 2+2 alternative to the Z, this is how Nissan Japan has marketed everything....
