I'm not a 'snob", I just wanted the LSD and VDC. Didn't want leather. But speaking of snobs, I get a little tired of the "I know how to drive so I don't need VDC, and if you want/need VDC you must not know how to drive" attitude. Just sayin'....

If you buy a Z to mod it out, all those things that come with models above the base are useless. Bose stereo gets swapped out for better sound components, steering wheel gets swapped out so you lose the cruise control, stock crappy LSD gets swapped out for Quiafe or Nismo lsd, wheels...everyone swaps out their wheels. Etc Etc, the dealership upcharge on the higher models make no sense to people who like to upgrade their car.
