Southern California Shoppers...
My dealer let me know that he's got 4 cars left for pre-order before the June deadline.
MSRP, $500 refundable deposit, no hassles.
Douglas Nissan of Orange. Talk to Michael Black.
BTW, I'm just doing this to help potential owners... not to plug for the dealer.

Dude:
These guys leave alot to be desired!
I contacted them, your guy wasn't in so I left a message. They called me back and said, "so what do you want?" I told them & they said they'd get back to me.
They didn't.
They called me again and said "you called here, what do you want?"
I told them again. Haven't heard back yet.
Sorry dude, but so far they seem like the typical inept dealership with enough collective intelligence to fill a thimble.

Don't take it the wrong way: I appreciate that you care enough about your fellow Zers to help them out.
Thank you!!!
I just wanted to warn any others!

Did you ever receive your confirmation letter from Nissan? I saw in another thread where you posted your car was due October/November. Did you get this info from Douglas Nissan?
Brianz's experience with Douglas Nissan mirrors mine.

I haven't received my confirmation. I called to check on this, and he told me he'll give me a call back. Never did, so 3 days later, I called him and I said that I didn't appreciate him not calling, and asked about the confirmation again. He told me he'll get back to me, which he did, and told me that I should be receiving my confirmation soon. He said that there was a delay since I changed my color.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt so far... but yea, I'm beginning to worry.

Now all that will go to hell if I don't get my Z by end of November.
He told me late October / early November.

I just thought it strange Bullishz that the delivery date they are telling you is hinting of November, when I was pretty sure you were part of the first dealer allocation. As such, you should've receieved your confirmation by now from Nissan, and also, your color change shouldn't have affected your date, as you did this some time ago.
The Nissan Rep for Riverside County told me I could change my color even up to 6/12, and not affect my delivery.

I ordered my Z from Douglas Nissan of Orange on 5/26. I haven't gotten any confirmation yet. Should I be worried?
They told me a delivery of Nov-December.

And I wouldn't neccisarily be worried just because you bought from Douglas Nissan. I don't want to bad mouth them, and I really don't know them.
I called about a dozen dealers before I ordered, and made 2 lists: Good Guys (dealers charging MSRP, $1K or less deposit), and Bad Guys (dealers taking advantage of by charging over MSRP, and requesting steep deposits). Douglas fell in the later column.
See if there is a Nissan Rep name at bottom of your form. If so, try and contact them. If not, call Douglas and ask them who is there rep. I have an email addy for a rep who handles some areas, and if it is the same guy, I'll give you the email addy.
