Default Highest Hp with bolt ons.

I'm wondering what is the most Rwhp you can get with just bolt on's? But I would like to see a dyno chart to back up your rwhp?
Thanks!

Good question i'd like to know too. I do know that these cars dont take to bolt-ons like 4 banger rice cars. Nissan has the Z tweaked out pretty well from the factory. I mean the intake is sucking cold air already from the front of the car...probably just needs a less restrictive filter to help out. The exhaust is also very free-flowing...you wont see unbelievable gains from an aftermarket one. You'll have to go internal if you want big gains from modifying the new Z.

what do you consider bolt ons?

intake exhaust, how about headers, testpipes, plenum, ECU? grounding cables? pulleys? cams?

should give a more specific definition of which bolt ons your thinking of.

Yes/no, true bolt on's. What I mean is anything that does not require you to pull or drill into the engine. No NOS or engine work which means no cams piston, lifters, and etc.

Thanks!

Hmm... I bet with ALL the bolt ons and some retuning you could hit 300WHP. Just speculation, though.

This is the most recent dyno of Jeff's car from Performance Nissan.

Mods include.

NISMO Cold Air Intake
NISMO Camshafts
NISMO Headers
Random Technology High Flow Cats
NISMO Cat Back Exhaust
NISMO FlyWheel / Clutch Disk / Clutch Plate
NISMO Limited Slip Differential

UR - Under Drive Pully's

The car was drivin directly from Techno Square to the Dyno place. The car was very hot from freeway driving.

The Dyno Run in GREEN was the best run before the ECU programming and Pully's.

The Dyno Run in BLUE is the best run after TS and UR Pully's.

The gain shown is mostly from the pully's. Air Fuel stayed the same if not got lower in the high end. Another car we know very well went to TS and had an ECU done and his results of A/F stayed the same as his last dyno and his other numbers actually got worse. As you can emagine we are contacting TS about this and see what is going on.

No dyno without cams.

We did a Baseline.

Then Intake Headers Cams

Then HighFlow Cats and Exhaust

and then what you see here.

With basic bolt on's on a 5AT I'm pulling 252.6 (check out sig)I suspect if you add a crawford plenum,.headers ,Evo throttle body, on a 6MT you'd get 268 and adding cams and a lightened flywheel it will get you to 275-280 range. I've not heard of anything higher on a Dynojet as of yet.

We did a Baseline

266.4hp was the best run, but what did the 'baseline' run yeld? I'm interested in the actual gains more than the outright dyno number. Thanks.
