It's funny how all these Nissan guys are so sure that we're jealous of their cars. I have no desire to get rid of my S2000 and get a Z. That is not in any way a slam on the Z as hard as NissaNZ will try to make it one and call my car a lawnmower. I like sports cars and I was hoping that this forum would help me learn more about this great new car Nissan is putting out, but these "Nissan fanboys" are just looking to pick a fight where there is none. The honda hatred here reminds me of the Sentra SE-R mailing list I was on years back. It was dumb there, but I thought a more expensive car would keep some of the kiddies off of here. Too bad the ******** on this forum are giving the other 99% of the members a bad name.

don't forget that our "puny" torque is multiplied by our 4.10 final drive ratio. (actually, with the primary gear reduction, our FD is more like 4.756)

and I wholly agree, chasing a rival car through twisties is fun!

Please do not generalize just because some members have a strong opinion of their cars, out of 3000 members there have been less than 50 replies and from those probably 10 members half of which are S2000 fans, so this is just a friendly match rather than a whole community ganging up on S2000 owners. Join the many other threads here and contribute but if you do not agree with the opinions on this thread just keep on going and join in on a thread that interests you instead of adding fuel to the fire, be the better man.

Let's go pick on the RICE BOYS with their modded CRXs and Integras...

One thing about the Z vs. the S2000

Z is a legend... the S2000 is a very nice nice sportscar... but does not have the heritage like the Z. There is NOTHING you can say to that.

Now let's quit bickering... we are ALL enthusiasts that appreciate a $30k sportscar that can kick some tail! Let's hold hands and sing "We are the World"

You don't call honda's years of racing, and formula 1 championships heritage?

Even the S2000 brochure states this car was the cumulation of years of racing history and heritage. All brought to the consumer for the streets in a small roadster.

Allllllllrighty then. Let's see...this is the third such thread closed. What is it about the S2K that causes it's owners to be so fiercely loyal? Hmmm....must be a great car. And it seems that the 350Z guys act the same way...maybe they're onto something too.

To those who insist on flaming each other over two great cars: if this is the best thing you have to share with us, then I feel pretty sorry for you.
