How do you grind gears. Even when I learned stick on my corolla S i never did that.. that I remember. Have the clutch half way? How hard is it to press in a clutch.. even on a Z.

well i looked at his pics, 17" rims, painted stock brakes and not a LED to be found in either the tails or headlights.

no, they are clearly painted stock brakes dude. i think this kid got ripped off and believed everything the guy said who was selling the car.

16 - 1997 Honda Civic EX
27 - 2008 350Z
Parents bought me the the civic as a B-day gift and ran that thing for about 11 years through high school and college. Civic still runs so well that Dad wanted the car back when I picked up my Z
Like a few people mentioned, I probably could have handled a Z back in those days, but everyone's driving habits change when friends/girlfriends are involved. I would have been no different

A) You've arrived, and have reached a position in life to afford and appreciate such a car, or
B) You've entered midlife crisis and are trying to regain your youth.
As an individual, you have to say "screw 'em" and do whatever works for you. I stopped caring what people thought/said about me years ago, and have had a marvelous life because of it. Plus, I plan to drive sports cars until I'm dead, so I've got that going for me.
BTW - I know a lot of people that look at young guys that drive sport scars and giant lifted trucks and SUVS, and figure they're compensating for something with a "giant ***** car" - so it goes both ways.

Being of the younger age crowd, I'll chime in what I think when I see an "old" guy driving a sports car:
1) He's gotta be loaded
2) He's smart enough with his money to afford something like that
3) I hope I can afford a sports car at that time of my life
4) He's got ObiShawn's mentality of "screw em!"

at 17 u have girls, drinks, drugs and more stuff and the driving... so yeah ur life goes fast and u drive fast too. but then the older i get, you are more responsible, the more money i have, the more i can spend and you never go back in horse power. I think this rules applies for a lot of people. I'm glad i started young with cheap cars to destroy to learn some lessons.
