Okay, I turned 18 a week ago. I did have my 350Z when I was seventeen, so I'm probably not a favorite right now among the people here in this forum. Please don't boo and hiss

But here's my lineup:
2002 Ford Escape my dad passed down to me when he got a new car
2002 Chevy Blazer bought for a third of the recommended price at an auto auction (because my dad wanted his Escape back)
My 2005 350Z roadster, also bought at the auto auction for pocket change compared to the recommended price.

I'm 18. My dad bought me my 350z for my high school graduation because I got a full ride into college from scholarships, and I'm so grateful to him for getting it for me. There's no way I could have done it by myself, nor will I lie and say I did. . I'm not one of those spoiled, bratty teenagers that try to make out like they're fully independent, because I'm not. It was a used car that was much cheaper than getting a new one. I didn't pay for it, my dad did. But I can honestly say that I'm not a whiny brat that begged daddy dearest for a 350Z until I got it. It was a surprise I knew nothing about. I looked out my window one Saturday morning, and there it was, sitting in the driveway in front of my room. Best present I could possibly have thought of

But as far as the whole seventeen year old thing...not all of us are whiny brats that begged daddy dearest for a sports car.

Paging Hraesvelg...paging Hraesvelg .... we have the exception to the rule here...

It's fine. Most of us here just have a problem with kids your age explaining that they bought the car themselves (which is almost always complete BS). Thanks for being honest (unlike 99% of the teenagers here) and saying that the cars were bought by your dad. Be safe with her out there.

Thanks! I'll be safe, I promise. Considering my dad said the first ticket I get, I pay for myself, and the next ticket I get, the car's his, I'm being as careful as possible I'm not a gal that's much for speed anyway.

Thanks! Not sure if it's because I'm a girl, that I'm a safe driver, or that I'm actually grateful to my parents for what they get me, but I'm cool with it either way

Haha! Car pictures are coming soon. I just tried to upload some and the computer crashed...
There's definitely nothing fancy to it, though. It's stock, for now. I hope to get some mods on it soon, once I save up enough money.
