As I am driving down the high way, going about 65 miles or 70 miles in gear 6 or gear 5, the SLIP lights comes on (I can press on the Gas pedal but the car does not speed up). This has been happening for a few days now. Even if I gear down to gear 4 or 3 the car will not speed up as i press on the gas. The only way to avoid this is to turn OFF the traction control. Any suggestions out there whats wrong with my baby? (Also I have chaged the rims 18x9.5 all around, 245 40 in the front and 265 35 in the rear.) thanks for your help.

 

its your tires.

since your fronts are 40 and rears are 35

i did the exact same thing a month ago...now i cant drive the car without shutting off VDC

either keep shutting it off or get matching tires

 

Front tires are taller than rear.
