got 20s because i was on a realllllly tight budget and we found a place that sold a set of staggered msr's for $1200 wheels and tires. slappin rubber on 19s would have cost me 400 extra.

You increased rear axle ground clearance 11.40 mm (22.80/2). The car rides higher than the OEM set-up.

NOTE: Actual speed 100.0 MPH. Speedometer will read 96.75 MPH.

Will rub, you added an inch of tire height, so you now already have 1/2 inch less fender well clearance and you want to lower the car. Undercarrage should be fine, fender wells will easily rub.

Usually you put taller tires on a vehicle your lifting. You must be confused, did you think you bought and SUV, you bought SUV wheels.

the fender wells are actually big enough to fit 22's, according to nissan, so i dont see the big deal. not that i wanna brotha up my car...
i mean could i get a little encouragement nonetheless? all i seem to be getting is negative comments.
i mean from a POV standpoint, looking into the wheel well, there seems to be plenty of room for a drop. Especially a measly 1/2 inch.
ive seen plenty of pictures of Z's with 20s and a drop, i just need confirmation and maybe some users' input that actually have 20's and a drop.

and pics will be up tomorrow

Sweet baby jesus....

Why didn't daddy just get you a used caddy?

Birthday card money, really?? Save it for college, dude. Why do you need 20's on a friggin sports car??

Whatever, good luck, and watch out for potholes/kids/small animals... I don't see this ending well.

i bought my own car, with my own money.

and if you would have actually read through the thread, you would know that i was on a tight budget and got brand new, brand name wheels and tires for $1200. vs paying 1600 for 19" off brand wheels and tires.
and as for college, i received multiple scholarships and have been accepted to the University of Hawaii at Manoa on a full ride.

but anyways, i just want help, thats all im asking for...so please?

personally I just strapped 15 lb weights to each one of my wheels and called it good. I'm not one for looks, I just wanted the increased performance from heavier wheels. my car grips like a mother****er now

You have a sports car with limited clearance, you put taller tires on it that stock. You may have clearance for 22's, but remember there are bumps in the road. How doe people get away with it? The run the proper height tires 245/30-20 and 275/30-20, they are the same height as stock.

In it for the looks, looks like it should be parked next to an SUV in the latest hip hop vid. Kinda lame.

as stated earlier in the thread...my tire sizes are exactly what you just posted:
245/30-20 and 275/30-20...
