Everyone has their own taste to what kind of car they like...but some people are just so ignorant that irritates me.
I appreciate my 350z in every aspect and when I see people my age driving bmws and...I'm like what the hell?...Those are luxury cars...why would you want a luxury car at 18? It seems to me like bmw could make the ugliest car and put it's little logo on it and people would still buy it.
Want an example? The Bmw 128i, it's a 328i but smaller and hideous.

A girl in my class yesterday said her favorite type of cars were bmws...and she stumbled to answer why..."uhh uhh it's a powerful car...?"

If you truly appreciate the quality of a bmw then that's fine and there are some very nice cars, but if you're just buying for the sake of having a bmw then you are a BRAND BUYER and that is very sad.

I struggled with this at times...get a 350z...or a 328i bmw...hmm...

Some people would buy the bmw...hmm less performance...too common of a car...boring...more expensive..I guess it's okay to pay much more just because it's a bmw...NOT!

Of course I'm referring to people at around 18, some people at a more advanced age look for that luxury, but god bmws and sell cheap hideous cars (128i) and people are dumb enough to buy them.

For the records it's not a rant towards Bmws..if you like luxury and can truly appreciate the quality of the car, then more power to you, but if you're a brand buyer then I have no respect for you, but brands like mercedes don't design 128i's...at least they have some class.

I get goosebumps everytime I drive my Z...a 3 series doesn't compare..now an m6 is amazing..maybe if I was a millionare at 18

 

some people just like the things they do, just because she doesnt appreciate the bimmer for what it is, who cares?? and that goes for anything....

 

Lots of people buy only "brand" items. Just check out the people on this forum who knock any wheel other than a Volks I don't think it is anything to get your shorts into a knot over. Just buy what you like and let others buy what they like.

Friend of mine bought a overpriced 330ci and tHought he was god. I got my Z for no where near what he spent and my Z is better in every aspect. He hates it.
I rub it in his face all the time. I don't know why but people with bmws think they are a lot better.

 

to each there own...i guess, im also 18 and i love my z. Every morning when i go in the garage and start it i have a big smile on my face. its the perfect car for me in every single way. my dad just bought a 335xi and even thought its brand new he still likes my z alot better. haha

What the hell? My dad drives a 5 series bmw and my mom drives a porsche...I didn't make this thread to hate on others "with nicer cars". If I wanted to blow 30 grand on a boring classless car I would have...by the way, are you really that guy that comes in to randomly bash threads? Nice life hun.

 

Some people have parents that buy them everything..bmws etc...even Zs...those of whom I have no respect for...but some of us actually work for it, and I still get bashed because I live with my parents and I'm 18 attending college. It's called being blessed to have a home and hardworking parents, not spoiled. If you think it's spoiled to pay for school and your car by working then sue me.

We get those here from time to time and they think their hot chett because they drive a "nice car." If your parents are nice enough to help provide for you while you get an education, than kudos to you.
