Default Looking to Get a Z soon.... Any recommendations?

Hello everyone, Im new to this forum and looking to purchase a 350Z hopefully in the next 6-8 weeks. I just want to know what I should expect to get if I spend $14-15k and what is the best year/trim line in your opinion. I'm pretty sure the Track has the 245-front, 265-rear wheels which I like as opposed to the 225/245. Any help is great, including links to older threads that would help. Thanks a lot, lookin forward to becoming more active here.

Welcome. You can check years and models here. Determine which best suits your needs: http://nissanhelp.com/models/2011/370z_coupe/

Well, it depends on your situation. If you plan on any track time, autox, or hardcore driving I would probably take a look at the Track model. With that budget you can either get probably a 04-05 Track model with low miles. Just keep up the search on craiglist, autotrader, and the vehicles for sale here in the marketplace. The track models have much better brakes and lighter wheels. Or you could always opt for a newer model that's not the Track model. Good luck with the search OP.

Yeah, I expect something with fairly low mileage but I have my mind set on those Brembo brakes so I really have no other choice but the Track...

Those are tire dimensions. Also, do you plan to change the wheels, or do you plan to keep the car stock? If you plan to upgrade who cares what wheels/tires the car comes with? IMO the only stock wheels worth drooling over are the RAYS Forged models, particularly the '06 Track/Grand Touring ones.

Grand Touring, NISMO and 50th Anniversay models as well... but don't plan on finding one of these for $14-15k.

When I do eventually upgrade wheels, I will get something really lightweight so that won't be for a looong way down the road because of the prices of good wheels. I'm just looking to do some performance upgrades first: Cold Air intake, spoiler, window tint, and Nismo decals.....
