08 certified used 350z help
Please post pics, second, how long did you have the car before the damage was noticed, last, i doubt you bought it from Nissan. You probably bought it from a local dealer.
Normally, "certified" only refers to the mechanical state of the car. For example, your water pump or a shock strut. It was certified to be in working order and if it breaks, it will be replaced under your warranty.
A broken core support means nothing unless there is other real evidence of a repair that resulted from an accident.
BTW - "under the impression" is meaningless. You better have something in writing stating that the car was accident free, i.e. Carfax, Autocheck or a document from the dealer.

^^^ Exactly. You can drive into the dealer any day of the week and get that same inspection for free. It's nothing more than a Marketing buzzword and there's nothing on earth that defines it as "nearly perfect".
The better question at this point would be -
How did you miss that? It's not covered up by anything.
Did you open the hood before you bought it?
Not giving you a hard time, but for reallll. For all the dealer
knows, you did it.
