I really wonder how accurate that gas meter is that tells you miles till empty on the dash cause when the light comes on it only takes like 15 gallons but its a 20 gallon tank. I just dont wanna be that idiot to take a chance and be stuck out on the freeway out of gas

The gas light doesn't have anything to do with being accurate. It's just what Nissan has it programmed, if it sees X amount of miles till empty, the light will come on.

The DTE is obviously not accurate. You can drive on zero forever, though I don't recommend it because it's harder on fuel pumps when it has to draw like that.

That awkward moment when the gas tank is empty, but the gas station fuel cut off after only 5 gallons... so you go to the next station to fill up the rest...

It's Nissan thing... They're just terrible at making gas gauge/tank. lol

I have the same problem. I just filled up and put 15 gallons in. and the DTE was at "----". Anybody know of some good aftermarket fuel senders/floats?

i put 14 gallons in when mines on empty and it wont take any more. 20 is the number i guesst,i thought it had a 16 for sure. the sensor must be F'd up on these cars. then again i can put 15$ in my silverado's tank and its still lit up orange on empty.
then the camaro reads half full on the dash and the pump says its full, at 6 mpg and like a 12 gallon tank (18 really) you can probably imagine me frantically looking for a station when rollin over to empty.
