Any gf's or wives that don't understand why we love our cars more than them need to think a little harder about it. How often does our car b!tch and nag about everything? How often does our car make us hang out with it's terrible friends? I know my car never asks me what I'm thinking about. All my ex gf's needed to do was not talk so much and they would have closed the gap significantly.

I've actually went as for as to tell my gf the reason I love Samantha (the z) so much is because she doesn't nag or complain. She's always there for me. And most importantly she never says no.

When my wife was still my GF she picked the same exact Z which I am driving now. She gave me all the encouragement to buy it, because I wasn't really looking to buy a car as nice as the Z (well the Z was super hot 5 years ago)
Now, somehow she regrets doing it. But she understands, and I'm glad that she rarely b1tch about my addiction to the car.

the funny thing that I feel my wife was more excited than me when I asked her opinion about should I buy this car or not. I believe this is the secret of interlagos fire color
and became even more fun when I asked should I twin turbo it so she asked what does that mean I said more wheel spin so the replay was why waiting
now build under progress

Thats kinda funny ,i told my gf that.... but in a encouraging way. Haha
I actually bought number 2 with her.she was all for it until my projects .
Now its the first thing to use against me.she still would rather go out in my car so i guess its more of a love hate relationship with her and the z.

I made the mistake *once* of saying how much on average I spent each month. Wife was slightly incredulous. From that point on, never told her how much a part was. I even sold a handheld tuner for another platform recently and she asked how much I sold it for. I said "If I tell you how much I sold it for, you'll know how much I spent, and I ain't playin that!"

I had my Z a year before I met my girlfriend, and she loves it and thinks it's sexy. She likes riding in it and I think it works well in our relationship. We drove the Z up for our vacation to lake country in Ontario (from Columbus, Ohio) this past summer for our vacation. It's a 9 hour drive up there (roads are not paved by the cabins) and a week's worth of luggage fit into the trunk, and we were both happy doing it!
Although she's not too happy I'm trying to save for a Jag S-type daily driver instead of an engagement ring lol.
My girlfriend even got me my Injen Cold Air Intake for the Z for Christmas last year! Now, how many girlfriends do you know that will do that?!

My girl and I met because of our cars. She drives an 09 G37 coupe and I have my 04 350. Neither of us are going to budge on eventually getting a new car because we already love the ones we own.
She knows how much I spend and doesn't mind at all. I question that more than anyone lol. But then I go buy more mods, and feel happy again.

Not a current Z owner yet but I'm in the market. I come from a long family history of Datsun/Nissan.
Anyway I had an 88 911 that I loved. It was a blast to drive... raw, fast, loud....everything you would want in a sports car. However, my loving wife hated it....I mean hated it....so she rarely rode with me. That was never fun since 1/2 of the experience was doing road trips trips together.
I'm currently in the market for another sports car and she is the one who suggested a 350Z. I may just take her up on it.
