Noise Violation?

I've been pulled over once in my drag Camaro when I was running open headers in downtown Virginia Beach, late at night. My dad was in the passenger seat and he was not impressed 
. The cops there are uptight like the KGB so I knew I was risking a ticket. Luckily the officer let me go because an urgent call came in, and since then I've kept my exhaust on to attract less attention. I've also been in the backseat of my friend's E28-swapped E30 when it was pulled over in Atlanta Michigan. We were there attending Sno*Drift and the cops were ready to give all the rally hooligans tickets. Somehow we got off with a warning, but I was so hungover I don't clearly remember what he told us

Not true, you have to be driving like an asshat or have a ricer *** car, I grew up in LA and Long Beach, I know those cops all too well, Riverside acts like a bunch of biitches too but as long as your cruising and minding your own business, you straight. I drive back and forth from Vegas all the time my exhaust is loud as shiit, they dont stop me at all.

There is your problem right there, Cops in LA have a hard on for anything Honda or Toyota, that ricers try to make look nice or turn them into performance street cars, you have a nice car now so it looks fast its supposed to sound fast as well thats why they dont trip, my exhaust is loud as shiit, and i drive fast but i only get thumbs up or just stares from da po-po

I got pulled over the first day I got my agency power put on. The cop said it was loud, I agreed but he let me go. Advised me to have it taken off which I later did because the wife hated it.
