When I was shopping for my Z, I noticed that every single listing for an American Z listed the trim level incorrectly...mainly 90% of them were base models(06+ with no steering wheel audio controls, which came standard on all but base models or 06+), cloth seats, yet they were listed as either Touring or GT!

If you can squeeze it for $20k or less taxes in, I'd say it's a good deal...Canadian 08s (all Canadian Zs came standard with leather, vdc/tcs, bose) in the Toronto area go well into mid $20's listing price (so before taxes).

I just replaced my csc and master, just wait till either the clutch needs replacement or wait for the csc to blow. Then upgrade the CSC and Master via Zspeed.

I bought my 08 at 24K, blew the csc at 105K, car is reliable than just about any sportscar out there.

my bro in law is a Porsche mechanic and I have never heard him talk about caymans, but builds and tunes Gt3's. I have gone for a ride in one and can tell you the Z is no match for a GT3..lol. I would say the repair costs of a Porsche and a Nissan would sway me toward the Nissan, especially if speed wise, they are similar.

Own a Z and test drove a Caymann. Honestly you can't go wrong with either one. However with the price difference between a Caymann and Z you can used the extra cash from the Caymann and beef up the Z. just my 2 cents

19k, taxes in, for an 08 with 15k kilometers? Did it have a clean title? That is super cheap!
