Default Ways to differentiate between normal 05 and 35th Anni

I recently purchased what I thought to be a 05 Base, and I didn't think anything more of it. Though recently I've been trying to procure more information dealing with my car. I took it into nissan to buy some touch-up paint and they said they'd have to special order "Super Black" because its the 35th Anni. This surprised me.

I was wondering, if and how I could tell if my Z is in fact a 35th or just the basic 05 base.

Thanks to all in advance

The seats are black cloth, and the side emblems are normal brushed aluminum, base 05 then?

Are there any cruise control buttons on the steering wheel? That is a dead giveaway.

Sounds like the dealership you went to has no idea what they're talking about.

The steering wheel is button free, completely.

Gotcha. Thanks

I'm looking into building it. Albeit oil consumption at the rate of about a Quart every 750-1000 miles, what other problems should I look for to fix, BEFORE dumping money on kits/exhaust/Paint

Do you have cruise control, traction control, or aluminum pedals?

You should get a quaife differential for your base. I have a 07 base and that is one of the first mods I did and probably the most noticeable mods besides power mods. Here is link

http://quaife.co.uk/

This differential is better than the vlsd one in the other z models.
