I had an overdrive button on my truck so I still dont understand his retarded *** question, is he looking for a turbo boost or something?

Stuart, there are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. However, every question is a cry to understand the world, so in reality there are no stupid questions. On the other hand, there are ‘stupid answers’. I’m certainly not calling anybody out here, as this was more or less the opinion of Carl Sagan one of the world’s greatest teachers who was never stupid on anything.

It was meant as a metaphor.

You may not be old enough to remember that Volvo's 1960 cars had an electronic overdrive button on the shifter.

I had a 1954 Ford with an electric overdrive, but I can't remember where the switch was.



It's even the right color...sky haze green.

I certainly wasn't expecting to see Carl Sagan mentioned on this forum, mainly because he drove a Porsche or two.
