Did he know Z's MSRP is gonna be only 26K~~34K when he purchased that Z? wonder what he feels like when he start to see Zs on road for 1/3 the price he paid...

Yes, Nissan donated the money to charity.
Also, the current owner of my350z.com was one of the bidders in the auction. As I recall he came in second at about $90K.

There is a Mercedes dealership on Long Island, I believe it is Ralley Motors in Roslyn, whose owner bought the 1st of the new Mercedes sportscars for over $1,000, 000 dollars. She did it to honor her late husband. As far as I know, it is sitting on the showroom floor.
Some people need to have the 1st edition of something whether it be books,stamps, coins, etc. Money is not an issue for them. I wish I could say that!!!!
