Speedo messed up. If i get another cluster ,can i take the speedo off it or do i got to use the whole thing. Mines in perfect cond. except the speedo, thats why just want to replace the speedo only.The donor cluster is rag out except speedo. Tried researching ,but nothing about what i wanting to do.

 

It would help if you provided more detail about how the speedo is "messed up? Does it not display properly? Is it intermittent? The speedo and tach are electronic gauges and do not use a cable like older vehicles. so more than likely, it's a problem with a connector or other device.

 

You need to use the whole cluster as it's one pcb, so you can't just switch out one gauge with another. If you mean "Speedo messed up" like the face plate is scratched or something you can always buy just the face plate.
