Winter driving exposes your car to chemicals and salt.

This is my winter setup:
  • Winter Wheels: ADR 17” (inexpensive and excessive inset)
  • Snow tires: Dunlop Graspic DS-2 studless tires, 225/55-17” all-square

I have been running the same set of snow tires for 5 years! They seem to last forever and were still OK this year (I just put them on the car).

The new Dunlop studless snow tire model is Dunlop Winter Maxx studless tire. It is available in a 225/55-17” size.

There are also good options in studless snow tires that will fit your existing 18" wheels. The studless snow tires for 18" wheels cost a little more and require more vigilance to maintain proper PSI during cold winter months.

Hope this is helpful. --Spike
