Default PCV Delete Question

Can I do the following to delete my PCV:

1. Put breather on existing PCV valve
2. Plug port on passenger side that used to connect to PCV Valve
3. Plug port on intake tube that used to connect to PCV hose coming from rear of engine
4. Put breather at the end of the PCV tube that used to feed into intake tube

Basically a catch can setup using breathers instead. This will be for a car used 100% for track driving. I am getting to much blow by right now and oiling up my intake.

1 - 4. Sure you can, but I don't think you would want to because that side has a tendency to expel more oil vapor that will eventually coat your entire engine bay.. Use the breather filter on the non-PCV side and plug the inlet on the under-side of the intake tube; then put a catch can on the PCV side. You can run one in-line or independent. It's your choice.

So you are saying do steps 3 and 4?

Steps 1 and 2 needing a catch can to avoid excess oil in my engine bay?

Replaced the passenger side PCV valve and reconnected as OEM setup.

Plugged the port on the intake tube and put a breather at the end of the rear PCV. Hoping this solves my PCV problem

OK. So you put the catch can on the passenger side?

I was getting oil into my intake and fouled out my MAF on the track. Also, I had oil up my dipstick, which has led me to believe my PCV is not venting adequately while I am on the track.

I replaced the PCV on the passenger side since the old one's bearing inside sounded sticky but I reconnected the oem hose instead of putting in a catch can.

I then disconnected the PCV hose to my intake, plugged the port on the intake tube, and put a breather on the PCV in the rear of the engine. The goal is to reduce the oil going through my intake when the car is under heavy load on the track.

Make sense?
