Upon further investigation, sounds like the Z tried to pass, hit a guardrail and bounced off the truck - possibly causing the accident.
Dammit new Z drivers....

...and while no charges have been filed, there's a good chance the Z driver will be facing some once the accident investigation is complete.
Another Redline Z bites the dust, but she gave it all to save the driver's life. RIP

says the driver was thrown into the passenger seat. If he was wearing a belt, thats a violent throw from driver into passenger seat.

Shoulder belts allow that to happen.
