Default Avoid thmotorsports

I ordered a SMITTYBILT winch Sunday.

I called Monday, it was "processing"

I called Tuesday it was "processing"

After three days THMotorsports says they want 400 to ship the winch.

I never got a response from management.

They claim they have items in stock but then say it is being drop shipped from Smitty.

Avoid THM.

It says FREE SHIPPING IN BIG GREEN LETTERS!

See if you are able to follow along:

Zs are cars, THM sells parts for Zs.

Get it?

I bought more than 10k in parts for my Z from them.

If you like being treated like $hit by all means go ahead and buy from them.

Sucks that had to have happened to you, for the most part they have been reliable for me. I've only ordered a few times from them but most were fairly high priced items, the most recent was a carbon fiber driveshaft and it arrived without issue. I say just cancel the order, get your money back and buy elsewhere. Not worth the headache if its just not going through.

Already done, reordered (for less)

I was surprised. I bought a slew of high priced parts (cams, pistons etc) for my stroker years ago, never a problem.

The really annoying thing was management literally refused to speak to me.

Add Autoplicity to the THM nightmare. I ordered the winch from them, similar thing happened. I paid their asking price that had again free shipping. They had it sitting in processing so I called. They said 75 to ship. I argued and finally said fine, then they said 55 more for the winch. I said f00k you.

WTF????

Also, turns out they are the same company.

Might be an issue with their supplier. Probably both drop-ship shipping the winch, with an error on the side of the winch company.

I think it is because they are greedy and did not want to sell it at that price.

Autoanything sold it to me for 1.00 less, I got tracking, shipping from Compton (the manufacturer's city)

I'm local to THM and never had issues buying from them, I've spent a lot of money at both Z1 and CZP too and I get no special treatment lol. Both have good customer service if you have problems with stuff you bought, but won't answer a simple question when inquiring about parts. No place is perfect, CZP takes forever to ship "in stock" items and while Z1 has excellent shipping times, I've had quite a few fitment issues with their parts.

As I said, I also bought a ton without issue (years ago) From what I understand they were sold sometime after 2010 which was my last purchase.

Sure issues happen, when I mess up I own it and apologize. They never did, to the contrary their management refused to come to the phone or respond to a message.

To me, that is worse than the mistake.
