Either his numbers are a typo or he has boost/bottle. Torque is too high for NA.
Ya, I'm boosted peak torque at around 3500 (5psi spring), but even with that I'm only 8mph more than op.
I wouldn't worry about trap speed. Worry about ET and 60'
Side note. Did you ever go to the track before you lowered the gears? If not, seems silly that you would change them without knowing what iit did previously.

There are a lot of folks out there that don't really understand the relationship between ET, trap speed and traction off the line. My full bolt-on '06 stick would run low 14's @ 105 if I spun off the line and 13.7 @ 99 if I hooked. I low ET with a low mph just means you're launching hard with little wheelspin. What matters is your ET, not your mph. BTW, this is in Vegas with a 7k foot DA and zero track prep. Just to give you an idea how horrible our track is, I had the quickest NA Z in Vegas until the 370 came out.
