Default Brake system swap Question?!?!?!?

Okay so I have a 350z that I’m building for the track, and it has base model brakes. I also have a 370z sport that has big akebono brakes. Rather than buying a big brake kit for the 350 I figure I could try swapping them. I know you can put the akebono brakes on the 350. But my question is, can you put 350Z base brakes on a 370z?

This swap is possible, but you'd be devaluing the Z34 by swapping a smaller brake package to it. Rather than spending that time and money swapping and bleeding two entire systems, why not use that effort to purchase a used Brembo system for your Z33? Lighter and more cost effective if you're taking it for track days.

Akibonos are so damn heavy. And its sprung weight on the suspension. I dont get the love affair with them. Yeah it fills out the wheels better, and for stance life bros I guess thats all that matters. but pick up a front Brembo caliper, then an Aki, then realize that there is little to know stopping power or heat capacity between them.

I'm not a huge fan of OEM Brembo either but I'd take brembos over Akebono's any day...

IF the Base 350Z is 06-09, larger OEM brakes, the rear should bolt up to the Z34, however the front may not fit.
If you need an adapter to fit the Akebono on the Z33, then you most likely need an adapter to fit the Z33 OEM brakes on the Z34.

Most cost-effective solution:
1) Swap all Akebono 370Z (sports rotors, brake calipers. rear lines) --> 350Z (you will need front adapter & reuse 350Z rubber lines from OEM brakes for your front Akebono with correct banjo bolts from Z1)
2) Buy used OEM 370Z Brake calipers with non-sport rotors, install that on your 370Z.
