Yesterday I was at my local summit racing and I noticed they had an opened hotchkis sway bar set for a 370z. Because it was opened, it literally came out to 138$ I think. Would a 370z hotchkis bar fit in my 350z ?

Well, while the Z33 and Z34 are successor models and they both take on the similar body style, it's best to consider the Z34 an entirely different car. Lighter, stiffer, more powerful and overall, a better car. That meant changes to suspension, engines, construction. It got lighter through lots more aluminum and composites, handles better in stock-vs-stock config thanks to highly revised suspension. Not much, if anything, carries over.

Even the interior was much improved. I think the only thing you could really carry over are the wheels, brakes, and certain engine components (from the HR 350Z to the 370Z).

Hardly. Brakes are very different (but adaptable to 33), a few engine parts here and there, OK, but ya, even the front wheels need spacers to work on a 33 along with new lug nuts.

People laugh whenever I tout the 34's "superiority" over the 33. And, well, it better be better considering its the newer model. But then, after going through the improvements, most people who laughed admit its because of the styling. Most complain that the 34 is a little fat and "uglier". Maybe, judgement call and I appreciate the improved function over form.

Me, both are great. If I were doing it all over again, I'd buy another Z34N (which was, by the way, my first modern Z when reentering the market in 2011, THEN my 33.

My Nismo Disagrees.

Well, I had both 33 and 34 Nismos concurrently. In back to back runs over the same roads, the 34N would outrun the 33N and do so with a higher degree of "comfort at the limit". Not ride comfort, mind you, just ease of mind and composure as the taut, stiff chassis and suspension of the 34 easily matches all the seam welding and other chassis stiffeners of the 33N. But add in the overall driveabilty factors including sound deadening, relative ride comfort, along with higher creature amenities and an effective layout, I stick with the Z34 being a "superior" car. (At least the Nismo version; have not had sufficient seat time in any other trim level). However, in the real world, the Z33 Nismo is a more desirable car from an aesthetic and market rarity standpoint for sure.

And, truth be told, I personally like the 33N better (as well) due to its slightly more raw characteristics in operation.

But seriously its splitting hairs to truly believe that one or the other brings the driver "greater joy".

Rear sway should interchange , that’s about it

I know the rear will fit. I have one on my 350z. You have to add spacers to the bracket but it fits. I have no idea about the front.
