Clutch question again.
2004 roadster touring with 75k miles. I bought the car in 2015 with 50k miles on it. I’m 63, so I don’t race, drag or ride hard. The clutch started to slip about 200 miles ago. I know it’s recommended to replace the fork, Pivot ball and slave cylinder, to which I will do. My questions are: How safe am I to say that my dual-mass flywheel should be ok? And are all clutch kits for the Z interchangeable between DMF and solid flywheel? If I replace my flywheel with a solid one, what should I expect in differences between the two flywheels?
Thanks a lot for your input

Yes, any 350Z clutch will work with DMF or SMF.
The following is subjective (IMO) but if you do not use the car for competition, I strongly suggest that if you use a single mass flywheet, stick with one that’s closer to stock weight else you will find a lightweight a bit of a nuisance to drive in traffic (requiring more careful up/down shifting, more lugging, etc). Yes, a bit more acceleration feel due to the lower rotational mass but in my OPINION, not enough benefit to offset the naggy issues.
Based on that, I can recommend the JWT 26lb iron flywheel (with JWT HD clutch). Have it in kid’s car and quite satisfied. The combo has good, solid feel and coupled with ZSpeed HD CSC (not applicable on your car), winner setup.
