Both of my oil pressure and service engine soon light seems to have a problem. The light came on around the time my oil pressure gauge said my psi was high. I changed my oil and oil filter but the gauge is reading 90+ psi when at 3000 rpm. I haven’t tried replacing the oil psi sensor yet so that could be the problem if it causes my gauge to read wrong and my service engine light to come on. I’m new to the scene and just need some guidance.

 

Take it to any auto parts store and get the code read that is causing the SES light to come on. That would be a good starting point.
