Default Ac blows hot air

So I purchased my 07 Z in November and obviously, it's cold in November so I never used the ac. Well, now that it's getting hotter I noticed about a month ago my ac blows hot air. I've done a bit of diagnosing and my AC compressor doesn't turn on when ac is turned on. Also, I had no pressure on my AC lines. I attempted to recharge the ac but my car wasn't taking refrigerant and from my understanding, the car won't take any refrigerant if the compressor isn't engaged, and for the compressor to engage there has to be refrigerant in the system correct? So I figured I could just trip the AC relay so the compressor can kick on and refrigerant could be added but there is no AC compressor relay on the car from what I have found online. I'm stuck right now and I really don't have the money to be dishing out on a new compressor at the moment so do I just put my big boy pants on and thug out the 90+ degree North Carolina summer with no AC or is there a way to add refrigerant? Thanks.

Go to Walmart, buy a can of refrigerant that comes with an attached hose and try fill it. See what’s going on

Default cold air intake

do you have a cold air intake? i just took my car to the shop a few days ago because i had the same problem. basically with my 2003 350z the cold air intake is too close to my freon line and it rubbed a hole in my line. i need a new line but dude at the shop told me it’d be close to $900 for just the line, labor, and they were going to bend my intake so it doesn’t make a hole again.

Have you checked the fuse that supplies power to the compressor clutch? #79 10a fuse. The relay is in the ipdm(same with the fuse), nissan likes to hide this of course.
If thats good, it gets pretty involved on why the relay is not working. I have a 08 manual, it's very detailed on how to go about it with trouble trees, sensor locations, resistance values. I suggest finding it.

You need to draw your system under a vacuum for the system to take Freon without the compressor turning on(using a vacuum pump and ac manifold). You obviously have a leak in your system that needs to be addressed first. Hopefully the $900 includes various task like putting in refrigerant dye(to see where the refrigerant leaks out under UV light) and replacing o-rings etc. All very necessary so your new refrigerant doesn’t just leak out again. Also price of refrigerant has nearly quadrupled this year alone due to supply chain issues FYI.
