Default What are some good All-Weather tires?

Currently, I run chrome SVT Mustang rims with Federal 595 RS-RRs, 255 / 40 / 17 in the rear and 235 / 40 /17 in the front. I bought a pair of stock 350z rims (03-05) that I'm going to paint matte black I plan on using them as a spare set for when there's heavy rain or just to run if I want a different look on the car. The Federals don't handle well in the rain and are made for the summer or track tire, so when it starts raining now I'm like a hockey puck. I was looking for a good pair of tires to run on the stock 350z rims and what size to fill up the wheel wells so my fitment looks clean and flush. Any ideas or preferences?

This ^^^ plus, I had a set of Conti DWS on one set of "winter wheels" (that's that 7 days where it rains like crazy in my part of the state then just drizzles for a couple of weeks) that were decent wet handlers.

However, there's a conundrum in your request. Part Uno: "Fill wheel wells", "flush" You won't get that on ANY stock Z wheel save for a 10" Nismo rear without spacers. And, Part Dos, the other half of the conundrum is tire size limitation. The stock/OE wheels, if 17s are only 7.5 fronts, 8" rear. Offsets are 30/33 respective. (18s are 8" - Touring/"wagon wheel" - type) or 8/8.5 same offsets for Track wheels). Either one you have, the largest tread width you're going to want to run is 245. You also don't say which end your new pair are going on so that will dictate the tire sizing.

The whole summer tires don't handle good in the rain is based on old wives tales or ACTUAL track tires lol.
A sumer tire will be better in all scenarios over a A/S tire unless it's below 45 degrees.

I'm currently on 2 tires, the PS4S for summer and Wintrac Pro for winter, the PS4S has been stellar, hot, cold, wet, even snow sprinkles. Today's low here is 29 degrees and I'm still on the PS4S, doing just fine.

The BFGoodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S tires work well as an all-season tire. Excellent in rain, adequate in light snow and good dry tires.
