Default 03 350z headlight issue

Recently had a ballest go out on the passenger headlight. Changed the ballast and replaced bulb. Now when my headlights are on ( low or high beam) they start flashing in sequence when I turn my right turn signal on, left turn signal doesn't cause problem. I can't seem to trace the problem down. Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like the ground or 12v+ power for the headlight signal is contacting the turn signal ground/power.

Did your 03 come with HID as OEM?

Aftermarket or OEM ballast/bulb replacement?

Inspect the clips and harnesses at the main connection points to the passenger side headlight. It sounds like maybe some of the wires got pulled out of the harness clip and they are contacting each other. Make sure everything is secure and pushed in all the way with the wire insulation intact and not stripped. Since the problem only occurs with the right turn signal, signs point to that side being the issue.
