Default Driving in the rain

I don't drive my Z in the rain, or if it has rained. The reason is because I don't want all of that dirt and grime to get on the underbody of the car. Any one else do the same? My wife makes fun of me for doing this.

My Z is the only car I have, so I gotta drive it rain or shine. But I can say that my wife would make fun of me too if I didn't drive it in the rain.

yup, 1 car, gotta drive it. after about a month I had to move past it and realize though its fun, I cant torture myself about ever chip, dent, and spec of dirt. I do what I can to avoid all the things, but never at the expense of a large sacrifice.

Amen. How much fun is a car when it's sitting in a garage?

i hate driving in the rain more than anything, I can't go past 1/2 throttle until about 65 mph or so. ALthough Down here, trees throw yellow sticky pollen on your car, rain takes it off nicely if your paint is treated correctly, so a little spin around the apartment complex when its raining is fun.

I love driving in the rain!
makes me feel llike a Lemans race hero!! (j/k)

anyhow, the Z is great in the rain.
Rain driving is all about slow and deliberate inputs - nothing sudden - also - VDC is simply amazing when called to task.

BTW - not drive you r Z b/c it can get dirty??
Cmon dudes its a *car* - a $35K CAR and as such its "disposable".

Helll, I 2 years into my Z lease and frankly, I cant wait for my next car (next gen NSX, C6 vette)

No need to drive the Z33 in the rain...nor the Z32...nor the S14. I just drive my ML500 or my wife's Sequoia. :P

I love driving in the rain. Turn off the VDC and its a low-speed drifting compitition! Of course we only get about 3 days of rain here in San Diego, so its not something I have to worry about much. My biggest concern is everyone else that freaks out when there is a tiny bit of moisture on the road. Its really scary when the first rain hits. The accidents on the freeway number in the hundreds. I just don't want to be one of them.
