Default s2000's ride vs. 350z

can anyone compare the S2000's ride with the 350z? i'm planning on getting a 350z base/enthus. over the summer where i can pick up shifts on a job and stuff without hassle from school. but my question is, how does the ride compare on the s2000 and the 350z? i hear that the 350z is a "rough ride" with bounce and stuff, like a true PURE sports car... which is fine with me as long as it doesn't drive like a Jeep. i want the pure "sports car" thing..(one of the reason im getting 350z rather than a G35 if you know what i mean.. :P).. well i drove the s2000 so if someone can compare i can at least get an idea of how rough the ride is, until i test drive a Z around next month. Thanks.

Word is that the S2000 is rougher than the Z.

I have owned both. The S2000 is a little roughfer although the 2004 has larger wheels which may change the ride. The S2000 feels like you are on the edge while you feel more in control in the Z. They are both great sports cars and I have greatly enjoyed both

thanks. just wondering. well that's "good news" considering that i drove the s2000 before and i didn't think it was too rough.. so if the Z is smoother, that's better.

I though the 04 Base/Enthusiast (what he's looking at) still came with 17's? It's the Track's 18's that give you a slight rougher ride.

I had an S2000..I thought it was kinda rough. My touring with 18's is very smooth.

Yup S2k is definitely rougher. By a wide margin too. I've had both cars...didn't mind either though.

He meant that the 04 S2000 has larger wheels than the 03 S2000

I drove one the other day also and the car seemed lighter (it probably is lighter). The handling was good. As for over all ride, my Z felt more stable.

Also, the one that I drove seemed to have minor grind in 4th gear and real bad knoch. Its was similar to 2nd gears issue it I use to have on my 350Z coupe (previous car).
