I'm going to try to stop by on my lunch break. I've heard the band before and was not impressed, but hopefully the Zs will make it worthwhile.

 

I work for an architect in Boston and I am currently on a project for the City of Boston. We are replacing the roof system on Boston City Hall. What the weird part is that in our set of specifications we list the event schedule for the plaza and this concert is not listed. I called a project manager who wrks for the city and he said that he hasn't heard anything about this concert. In fact there is supposed to be somehting else in the plaza for the next 3 days (Taste of Boston) but i think they moved it to somewhere else. I am confused.

 

Now this was really kool... I was driving into Manhattan this morning when I saw what I thought was the "Z" logo on the back of a tractor trailer from a distance. So I sped up and moved into the middle lane to get closer to the truck (in the right lane). Low and behold the entire side of the truck was a billboard- it was sweeeet (sorry no camera). It was the side view of the chrome silver under dim light -same one someone posted of the stationary billboard in NY. People were all racing to get a look at it, I can't imagine what they are going to be doing when I'm driving the real thing!

saw the truck travelling West Bound on the Long Island Expressway (New York) around exit 18 at approximately 9:45 am Wednesday morning

 

...too bad I could not stay for more than a few minutes. If I had the time, I would have driven down into the display area and parked next to the Daytona Blue and Super Black cars with mine. I don't think anyone would have stopped me.

Good job, Nissan. Keep up the good work.

Now if only Nissan would use MY vanity plate in some advertisements...

How was the Z tour concert? Any good Z stuff there. I've never heard of the band and not even my kind of music. Not to mention I work in Mansfield so I couldn't even sneak out.

I've got a great vanity plate lined up for when I get a Z (hopefully spring/summer) but its a secret ;-) Do you drive around downtown much? I haven't seen a single Z in the Bean or anywhere on the south shore.

 

I have been driving around in boston everysingle day for last couple weeks in my Black Track. Just keep an eye out near downtown, Newburry street, and Northeastern area!

In fact, I have headed out in that area right now!!

I was there for about 5 minutes-just had to stop by. Never heard of the band before. Just curious as to what the deal was down there. Nice to see 2 Zs surrounded by people gawking.

Sort of like when I park mine.

 

I didn't go to the thing yesterday, but I've heard the band, Dashboard Confessional, before. They opened for Weezer a couple months ago at the Tweeter Center. They are "emo," which is short for "emotional." They play basically slow rock with angsty lyrics. It's not my cup of tea, though the legions of teenage girls singing along in the audience would probably disagree with me.
