holy crap. My points went down after creating this thread (about 20). I think that if nobody replies, Ill lose points, if you reply, maybe I GET points. I MISS MY POINTS im sorry Ill repent Ill never make another stupid thread as long as I live

I'm just trying to help a brother out by replying. I pre-ordered from Mossy in National City. I have a "T" tracking number but no VIN yet so I doubt that it made this this voyage on the Hual Traveler (docks in LA this week).
There are two more boats, World Spirit due in LA ~10/12, and United Spirit due in ~10/28, that could still get me my car before I leave the country for a week and half. Let's hope the friggin' dock workers don't go on strike (BTW, no offense intended to any friggin' dock workers!).

Got a surprise call yesterday. My Z, set for October/November delivery window, arrived at Mossy El Cajon. Salesguys Todd and Jake were great. Did not install front license holder, and I didn't even have to tell them. Todd filled it with gas and watched it like a mother hen. Car had nine miles on it when we took it for a test drive. One day in, the car is great! Smooth acceleration, short throws. Only negative might be the blind spot to the right. I recommend Mossy El Cajon... treated me right. They even watch this board to check for what customers might be worried about.

I had an ETA of 10/7, picked it up yesterday morning!
17 miles on it when I picked it up, 140 on it now! Can't wait for the weekend.
All in all, the pickup experience was a good one. Todd came in early to meet me on the lot. We took a test drive, he apologized profusely for not having more information during the wait, signed the papers, got the financing set, and away I went.
Took it to work, showed it off, drove it to a meeting downtown, got a lot of looks and thumbs up, drove it up the 101 to a pub in Cardiff to meet my buddy so his girlfriend's coworkers could check it out.
More showing-off to be done tonight!

I'm not sure why you are complaining about Mossy Escomdidop, I got my from them Aug 23rd. I don't think the delaership has any control of when the cars get there.

I'm not surprised at the numerous positive experiences at Mossy. I worked for them for about 3 years in sales and found them to be a great organization. You guys will be treated fairly and honestly at all of their SD stores, but I suppose there can be a bad apple anywhere. I miss Sunny SD where a Z can be driven 365 days per year! You guys are lucky!

I ordered Feb 21. I just checked my watch and it's, oh Christ! September 30. But what's seven months between friends?

I'm hoping for some news this week. A ro-ro full of Z's sailed from Yokohama last week. Stay tuned.
