Change anything for '04?
We all know that the Z is a bargain for the price. What do you think needs to be changed/added for the next model year? I personally think they should let you have more flexibility with the interior regarding the exterior color. Do you think the MSRP will be the same?
I would add volume & station controls for the radio on the steering wheel.
Inc. the HP to 300.
Make the compartment behind the drivers seat a storage place if no Bose.
Better Bose Stereo, and make it an option on the Performance
Lower the NAV to $599.00
That is about all I can think of right now.

Integrated radio antenae? I know there was all the talk about not doing that because of the drop top but there has to be somewhere you can put the thing. Front glass, bumbper ??? What do you guys think?
My top improvements for '04:
-Fix passenger seatbelt so it doesn't need to be put in the clip
-Fix passenger seat so it folds back to its original position after accessing storage compartment
-Padded center armrest
-Fix rattles in sub visor and rear strut brace area
...and the number one improvement for the 2004 350Z (drumroll)....
-Separate buttons to turn off VDC and TCS independently

The seatbelt is something small that shouldn't be hard to fix. Strange they have a clip for it, yet they just didn't solve the problem in the first place. I was also thinking about separate buttons for VDC and TCS, but I not sure if Nissan will think that is a necessary modification.

.I just got off the phone with NNA and I inquired about this. They told me some very interesting news.
All I'm going to share is: have any of you seen the movie "XXX"? Remember the GTO? hehehe. LOTS of changes for our '04 350Z

I think the parking brake (in the down position) is in the way of grabbing the shifter, especially when shifting between 1st and 2nd. It just sticks up too high, my wrist is always touching it. When I first got my car, it knocked my hand off the shifter when trying a quick 1-2 upshift. It should sit flush with the center console when it's down. Or, it should be on the right side of the shifter. The Japanese owners probably like it where it is, though!
Interior hatchback release button/lever.
Mute and CD pause buttons on the freakin stereo!
Usable space in the nav system storage area. You can't even fit a CD in there. It's virtually useless the way it is now, IMHO. I think the interior is a hard plastic, too (might be wrong there) -- it should be soft and non-marking so if you throw stuff in there the interior doesn't get all scratched and make noise when it flies around.
This is minor stuff. The car really rocks!
