Default Can't get a full tank of gas

About a month or so ago I started noticing that I can't seem to get a full tank of gas according to my gauge. After filling it all the way up, it only reads about 9/10ths full... what's the deal?

bring it to the dealer and have them recalibrate it.

Does the gas pump prematurely shut off? If so, I have the same problem.... I've been having it for a long time now. If you blast it at full throttle, then it cuts off at half full. If I pump at the slowest speed, it fills up to 9/10th maybe. Weird. Dealer can't figure out what's wrong with it.

This has to do with the housing of the gas inside the Z. Some pumps work no problem, and some stop half way. No one seems to be sure what makes some pumps work and some not, but if a pump doesn't work, it will never work, and if a pump does work, it will always work.

PREACH BROTHER PREACH!!! I had the problem with premature shut off and once I switched pumps no more problems. Same gas station, just a different pump. Dont know why, but it works. Nothing to do with levelness or anything like that. Maybe it is the alignment of the planets. Bottom line switch pumps till you find one that works.

Default It happen to me too

I told the Dealer in January 2003. The dealer said that they would get back
to me but never did. I started to notice that it wouldn't get filled up all the way at different gas stations. I haven't had that problem anymore.

You should see a doctor about that. J/K Are these normal gas nozzles or are they the vapor recovery type that people are having problems with?

Well to add to your problem. OPEC is cutting back crude production by 4%. So you really will have problems at the pump.

I concur, my gas gauge does not go all the way to the top either. Just started happening a few weeks ago. Is it a recalibration, or is it a faulty fuel pump?

If it comes close to full but doesn't quite get there, it's most likely your gauge. My problem with pumps always happened closer to half a tank.
