Had the Z in between two Porsches at a car show that I put together and EVERYONE commented that the Z looked better than the two ( more aggressive lines was the major comment ) !

My roadster seems to really get the "porsche" comments, I guess it looks like a Carerra 4 cabrio to some people... I can live with that. I think its funny that people think my M3 is the new design as well for some reason (it just doesn't look 8yrs old).

Parking ticket
I got a parking ticket two days after I got my roadster. On the ticket, the description of the vehicle was PORSCHE! I didn't notice it until I was standing in line to pay it. But now, I can get it thrown out. Saved me like 50 bucks!

So I was at the Taco Bell drive thru and the kid at the window practically flings himself out onto my car! He says "Dude! Can I have your car?!!?" I laughed and said sorry. He says "Man I will give you thirty thousand dollars CASH for it!" He was being serious. It was pretty confusing. So I told him no. If you have thirty grand in cash laying around, go down to the dealership with it. They'll take it. He gives me a $hitty look and says " So you would not take $30k? Are you CRAZY? You could pay it off!! " Then he tells me I should get a system and put some 22" Spinners on it! He says "Yeah I just got an 05 Denali and I have 6 15"s in it and 22" spinners. It was a birthday present."
My friend and I were stunned at how dumb this kid was acting. I couldn't even respond. Then the girl working with him squeezes out through the window and says " What kinda car IS that?" 350z I says. " It looks like that new Timberon." Unbelievable! That was just too much...

I get comments every time I drive the Z. All good so far. Mostly from older folks - "Wow, I had a 240 when I was in college", and stuff like that. Really hits home when someone in something really nice (ie:expensive) gives a compliment. Feels good...

I get plenty of porsche comments in Iowa. Seems like everyone drives big a$$ trucks. Best comment I ever had was standing in line at the DOT getting new tags about a week after I bought it. A guy comes up to me and tells me I have a very nice car and then proceeds to tell me that it is his wife and his DREAM CAR!! I felt pretty good knowing that I am 25 and own a car that is a dream car to someone. I have yet to be dissapointed. On a side note has anyone seen the Porsche Boxster Coupes??? They look pretty good but I think it is because they resemble a Z

The first day I got my Z and I went to show it to my friends, I got a couple of comments like, Dammm a Porsche!!, but the best one was the other day when the wife had to return some stuff at Walmart and I decided jus to pull on the side of the parking lot and wait for her.
Like two minutes later of getting all kinds of nice looks about the car, this lady with a couple of kids in a minivan slams the brakes and she goes WOW! I turn around to see her two kids hit the dash and the lady goes: nice Porsche!!!.
I respond with IT IS A NISSAN 350 Z. She says I love Nissan.
Of coarce at that time the wife shows up, needless to say she thought I was hitting on this lady cause she was nice looking.
Man I love this car!!
