My wife and I went to an AutoX this morning to watch Jewelz350 take her Daytona Blue Track on the tarmack for the first time. Took a little ride around the area afterwards - what a rush! I cannot wait to get mine.

Z Shirt - my wife had that made for me by a local guy, who made it freehand from a copy of the brochure. I wish I had half that much talent.
Cones - Jewel didn't get any, but they certainly took a beating over the course of the day.

 

Will somebody please tell me that they did not have that silver Ford Focus on the track tryin' to run it?

 

Irishfan--thanks to you and your wife for coming out! It was great to have a little Z support. Hope you enjoyed the ride. I asked if Dave got on it for you and he replied that he was pretty good. Doh! Great pics on the web--thanks for taking them. My girlfriend got a video of the first 3 runs. My do I need lots of practice! LOL At the end of the race I got to run one fun lap. Turned the VDC off. Oh my! I'm still laughing just thinking about it!!! Huge difference.

Yep, that was my friends ZX3. Dude-he about beat me!! In fact, in the Pax index he did! He was running in STS. Bosal exhaust, shocks, breaks, CAI, wheels and tires--it really is pretty sweet!

 

If she had a Subaru, SOA would have voided her warranty by now. lol

 

Is the writing applied by tape? Just curious as to how the letters, symbols, and numbers are applied for the day.

I had my numbers made on a magnetic back. Got a good deal-$25 for all.

I ran 36psi all around. Major push. I blame that on my driving though. LOL I forgot my shoe polish to check for roll over. I would add more though. I was checking out a small video on the SCCA website and you can tell I hit the corner pretty hard and you can see the dive (first run of four). My bad
