Finally got to push it!
Well the stars finally aligned and I had a chance to go hit the mountain roads this morning. Some friends of mine from the NSX club were doing a quick jaunt up the infamous "Ortega Hwy" in orange county, and invited me along.
Some pics attached. The car performed exceptionally well, ran with the NSX's no problem, never got unstable on me, and was just insanely fun to drive. My friend driving behind me said he was trying to actually gain on me all day when we were both accelerating but at best was just keeping up.
(no action shots unfortunately, I had no co-pilot).

what a romp !!! question...
lowfuel... you lucky dude... What a great ride that must have been. The NSX design.. like the Z32... is timeless.
However... your new Z33 looks great.. especially the short front overhang compared to the NSX... your Z looks odd since it is the only color (blue) in a black..silver.. gray atmosphere.
Question.. the NSX wheels..
1st pic.. 2nd from right
2nd pic.. 3rd from right
3rd pic... 3rd from right
4th pic.. 1st from bottom...
Looks like those wheels are the 6 spoke magnesium Technomagnesio... is this correct ? Looks like 18 inch in the back..is this correct ?
Just curious.. as I have the 5 spoke 17 inch on my Z32.... and while I am looking at Nismo wheels... backup might be a new set of very expensive Techno's....

Sweet story and pics!
Wow...those NSXs look great. The fact that the Z isn't out of place sitting next to them (or driving with them!) is just amazing. Thanks for sharing!

They were all very impressed with the car - of course they are a bit biased and like their cars better. But it was definitely a thumbs up from everyone.
Oh, and when we parked for breakfast the innocent bystanders came over to look at my car but generally ignored theirs. They were a little mad about that.

Awesome pics. The NSX was my favorite car (but I had a headroom issue). The Z is nice looking, but looks a little tall in that company. Well I guess that's the price for headroom.
Sounds like a blast.

Great shots Jason
The first thing I noticed was how "at home" your Z was in the middle of that powerful brood
Awsome!! Let me know about the good will ride...should have my car by then and have a good friend with an NSX

What beautiful rides Wish we had roads like that in New Jersey.
I love the Honda center caps on the Technomagnesio NSX; that's a great touch; I definitely want to do that when I get my wheels-

that would be great to have an event like that, I would just come for the eye candy. I really don't have a car that would "fit in" (yet), perhaps I could get a hold of my dads CLK55 (styling is a little understaded against those machines, but the 18" Sl600 wheels help, as does the 350 HP and 394 lbs-torque).
